A inspiring Botanical garden! Surface pattern design.

I am glad you visit me. Lots of thanks.

Last Sunday although it was not a sunny day, as I was a little tired about so many hours on my computer, I thought it would be great to repeat a second visit to my city botanical garden.

It is such a peaceful place, so relaxing to walk and get lost around all that great vegetation.

The first visit it was very inspiring to me as I created some vector patterns based on photos I took. This other second visit it was productive too, as I have created new iphone cases designs based on some of the photos which I took there.

Really, it is a very inspiring place for me, and sure I will come back in Spring as I missed the flowers blosson. It must be an explosion of colour in that season.

I have had a great fun manipulating these photos with photoshop filters, experimenting, making colour adjustments.. .Impossible for me to tell you the steps I did, as I don´t use photoshop a lot, I was only playing with the filters to see if I got an appealing result.

It is the first time I have used photos like that, and there is a lot to learnt. I feel excited about it. It is true I created patterns based on photos but tracing them at illustrator, which it is quite a different method.

I don´t know much about photography, it was only a game for me, but I am thinking about getting a new and better camera!

You can see and buy any of these iphone cases designs and many more at,http://www.casetify.com/juliagrifol/collection

These are the photos I chosed.  I have been days only working in making new iphone cases designs. I hope you like them.

Have a great weekend!
